Atlanta-based Chicken Salad Chickhas signed a 25-unit franchise agreement for Upstate New York — Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and the Upper Hudson Valley — marking the largest development deal in the company's history.

While the agreement is a major development push for the brand into New York. Chicken Salad Chick said additional territories in New York and New Jersey remain available for prospective franchisees.

In 2025, the fast-casual chain awarded nearly 100 franchise deals and opened 42 restaurants across 14 states. Chicken Salad Chick currently has more than 300 locations in its development pipeline.
